In Orbita, a funny and bittersweet point & click adventure, releases a free demo on Steam
ParacausalitySystems has released a free demo of In Orbita, a hand-drawn point & click adventure about a man who always has a joke ready, which is exactly why nobody notices how lonely he feels. The full game comes to Steam in November 2026 for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Vincenzo is 47. It’s Sunday: lunch at his parents’ house, Mom running the show, Dad glued to the TV, his son glued to his phone. Just another Sunday, until an old cartoon tape sucks him into the TV and he wakes up as an 8-year-old, inside the 1980s cartoons he grew up with.
In Orbita is a point & click adventure like they used to make: explore, talk to everyone, collect and combine items, solve puzzles. No reflexes and no game over, just your wits, plenty of laughs and a few moments that stay with you.
What makes it different
- Two worlds in one. The parents’ house on an ordinary Sunday, and the worlds of 1980s cartoons, where Vincenzo is a child again.
- Sincere lines. In every conversation the easy joke is always there. The sincere line is on screen too, but it just won’t come out. As a kid, though, maybe it will.
- Think like a grown-up, talk like a kid. Choose what a 47-year-old man would say, and hear what comes out of an 8-year-old’s mouth.
- Classic puzzles, modern comfort. Inventory and logic puzzles, with a journal that keeps track of everything and helps when you’re stuck.
- Hand-drawn and scored. Cartoon art crisp up to 4K and an original soundtrack, cartoon theme songs included.
A game that makes you laugh. And then, without warning, it doesn’t. In Orbita is about family, about fathers who never have time, about children growing up, and about the things we can’t manage to say to the people we love.
